About Birchwood

We are a dog and family-friendly nursery and Beer Garden dedicated to our Nipomo and Central Coast residents. We have plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy your food and beverages with family and friends, as well as televisions screening the latest sports games and outdoor heaters for those occasional chilly nights.  

Birchwood is located in the small rural town of Nipomo just minutes off the 101 freeway in the Central Coast of California. Nipomo is known in history as the location where the famous Migrant Mother photo was taken in 1936 by Dorothea Lange. Rumor has it that the location was directly across the street from us. Birchwood feels like a magical haven of tranquility. Upon entering Birchwood, you are immediately greeted with the breathtaking greenery and wildlife on our grounds. You will feel the positivity and charm of our age-old pepper trees. Birchwood is even more beautiful at night with its lighted trees and pathways.
